What this site is, and isn't.
CouchChange teaches how automated trading works and runs strategies with simulated money. It is not investment advice, a broker or a custody service, and nothing here promises returns.
Paper results aren't real results.
Our simulated trades use real market prices plus stated assumptions about fees and delays. Real trading adds partial fills, failed orders, slippage and other costs. Even a profitable paper result wouldn't prove a strategy works.
Why some results are private.
Our running strategies use market data from the Kraken exchange. Until we confirm we can republish it, we describe rules and outcomes in words, without the recorded prices, trades or account values.
Nothing here holds or moves money.
The Lab stores simulated accounts and rule drafts. There's no billing, no wallet connection and no real trading. No page will ever ask for a private key or seed phrase.
AI helps build this site.
We use AI tools to write software, research and draft text, and we review what they produce. AI output isn't evidence, and no AI picks trades in our current strategies.
