CouchChange is an independent research and education project exploring algorithmic, agentic and AI-managed trading. Its starting point is a question: can a reader see how a decision was made, and judge what the evidence actually supports?
Who is behind it?
The project is created and maintained by Jameson Huckaba, with AI-assisted software development, research and writing. It is an experiment in making trading systems understandable. It does not claim institutional research credentials or an established trading advantage.
What you can inspect today.
The public hub explains the BTC, ETH and SOL spot study, the Solana meme-token studies, and the Pump.fun graduation recovery study. These portfolios follow fixed rules and use simulated money. AI-managed trading portfolios and the member Workshop remain future work.
CouchChange previously explored streaming-subscription savings. That product is discontinued. This site now focuses on trading research and education.
How explanations are prepared.
We distinguish invented teaching examples, registered study designs and dated recorded outcomes. Explanations of a rule are checked against its registered definition; retrospective explanations must use information saved for the decision. AI-generated prose is not itself evidence.
Our research method explains versioning, costs, comparison choices and missing data. The Trading 101 sources link to primary material. A citation is context, not an endorsement of our project.
How corrections and limits are handled.
A misleading explanation should be corrected. A changed strategy belongs in a new trial. Earlier losses and unavailable outcomes remain part of the research record; we do not improve a chart by removing them.
Public guides include an editorial publication date. Market evidence, when released, must identify its own observation cutoff. Those dates mean different things. Detailed results are currently private while source publication rights are reviewed.
What this site offers.
